Registration is under way for Lone Star-Tomball College's popular summer youth programs, Kids on Campus and Teen Zone. The Kids on Campus program for grades K-8 will be offered a both the main campus located at 30555 Tomball Parkway, and at the Tomball College Willow Chase Center, 9449 Grant Road. The Teen Zone program for grades 9 through 12 will be offered only at the main campus in Tomball.
Both Kids on Campus and Teen Zone will be held during four sessions: June 9-20; June 23-July 3; July 7-18, and July 21-Aug. 1, with both morning and afternoon classes available in each session.
Parents can register their children through Monday, July 30 at the following locations:
- LSC-Tomball Continuing Education Office, E-166, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
- LSC-Willow Chase Center, May 17, 9:30 a.m-12:30 p.m.
Classes range from the traditional to the unusual. Some classes featured this summer are: Amusement Part/Video Game Design, Ancient Civilization Series, Baton Twirling, Computer Art, Aquabots/007 Secret Agents, Gals' Night Out, Guys' Night Out, Guitar Flag Football Camp: Boys and Girls, Cake Decorating, Safety and Survival, and many more. Teen Zone courses will include Ocean Adventures, Sculpture, Beads Galore and more.
