Professional Nursing Programs

The Basic Track is designed for students with no previous formal training in nursing and currently holding no state licensure. This is a two-year program with fall and spring semester classes and an early-exit option. Click on Basic Track (left) for selection and admissions information.

The LVN/Paramedic to RN Bridge Program is designed for students currently holding Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Paramedic certification and who are currently working in their field. This is a one-year program consisting of classes in three semesters - summer, fall and spring. Click on Articulation Track (left) for selection and admissions information.

We do not offer any accelerated programs for students who already hold certificates or degrees in areas other than Vocational Nursing and Paramedic studies. All students that are not Paramedics or Vocational Nurses will follow the admissions and testing requirements for the Basic Track. Requests for transfer of academic credits will need to be submitted to the admissions department for review.

Students who have completed actual nursing coursework (not academic prerequisites) and wish to transfer from another nursing school will need to provide copies of your transcripts, course descriptions, a letter from the Director/Dean of your nursing school, and a personal letter of appeal to our Director of Nursing. You can submit these materials to the Nursing Counselor who will present them to the Director for review.
