Program Progression and Course Grading
Progression from one semester to the following semester(s) requires successful completion of all EMSP and clinical course requirements. To successfully complete an EMSP semester and to be eligible to receive a course completion certificate, students must achieve a passing score of 70% in each course and on each final course exam. Students who do not score a 70% or better on a final course exam will be given the opportunity for one retest if their course grade is passing. The retest will not affect the course grade. Students must score 70% or better on the retest to continue in the program. Withdrawal from or failure of any EMSP course in the program will prevent the student from continuing into the next semester of the EMSP Program. The student will need to resubmit an application portfolio at another date.
