Payment

You can pay tuition and fees by cash, check and credit card. 

Due Dates

Spring 2009

For early registration of spring classes:
Wednesday, January 7 (by 7:00pm)

After Wednesday, January 7 at 7:00pm:
After this date, and prior to the first day of class, payment is due at the time of registration. If registering via phone, payment must be made by credit card.  If registering online, payment can be made by check or credit card.

TouchNet payment plans are not available for Mini-mester classes.

COLLECTION COSTS:
If obligations are not paid in full upon notification by the college, these debts may be referred to an outside collection agency and to appropriate credit bureaus.  Resulting collection costs willbe added to the original debt and the student must pay these costs, as well as attorney’s fees, if applicable.  Furthermore, all unpaid obligations will result in a hold on student records, diplomas, transcripts and future registration activity.

Credit Card Payment

Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted. Credit card payments can be made over the phone by calling 281.591.6625 or any Lone Star College System business office. Most colleges have boxes where you can leave payment. Current students can pay online via My Records.

Check Payment

The following regulations apply for paying by check:

  • $30 returned check fee
  • If your check is returned, you must pay your tuition promptly or it can be canceled, your registration canceled and your records withheld.
  • No postdated checks will be accepted.
  • No checks will be accepted for a sum larger than the amount of the transaction.
