The Financial Aid staff is dedicated to using all available funds to help students earn an associate’s degree or certificate.
Financial aid is available from state, federal and endowment funds. In some cases, gifts and grants from corporations and foundations provide assistance. It is usually awarded based on financial need, but merit based aid can be awarded based on special skills, talents, or academic record.
Although we are committed to helping all eligible students, the responsibility of meeting the financial obligation of college attendance rests with the student and family.
If the student or family does not demonstrate enough financial need to warrant a full aid package, students may look into payment options, federal loans, and work/study employment.
