
Services are available for students who require special support services due to the following:
- Visual impairment
- Hearing impairment
- Learning disability
- Physical impairment
- Traumatic brain injury
- Difficulty in technical programs
To obtain services or accommodations:
- Apply and be admitted to Lone Star College–Tomball through the regular admission process. Refer to the catalog for specific admission guidelines or go to the Admissions web page.
- Schedule an appointment to see a counselor after registration (281) 351-3380, voice and T.D.D.
- Complete all necessary paperwork to receive services
- Submit sufficient evidence of a physical, emotional and/or learning disability
- Supply copies of your comprehensive individual assessment/evaluation and/or medical records
Student Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with the Student Life Center if support services are needed
- Provide most recent comprehensive individual assessment/evaluation and/or medical records
- Notify instructor/counselor of any problems encountered
- Fulfill requirements of the course with a 'C' or better Assume responsibility for educational program Contact appropriate community resources if desired Self-advocate, when necessary
