Personal Counseling

The Student Life Center provides individual attention to all students enrolled in the college. The center offers assistance to students experiencing personal difficulties that interfere with academic success. Counseling services assist students in achieving educational and personal goals.

You are encouraged to contact a counselor or adviser when any of the following services are needed:

Career and employment services
Are you looking for a job, need help writing a resume, or want to find out about a specific career?

Educational counseling
Do you need help selecting a major, resolving academic difficulties, or planning for further educational pursuits?

Personal development seminars
Would you like to attend a group session with counseling support to discuss values, goals, life adjustments, or other personal issues?

New student information sessions
Are you a new college student and need to learn more about college life before you register?

Referral services
Do you need a referral to specialized counseling services?

Transfer planning
Are you planning to transfer to another institution after you attend Lone Star College System?

Testing
Would you like to take an aptitude test or vocational interest inventory to determine what career would be best for you?

Monday and Wednesday 7:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Tues, Thurs., and Fri. 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
