Ongoing Activities:

• Establishes calendar of funding opportunities
• Builds awareness and generates enthusiasm of grant opportunities among faculty and staff
• Instills others with excitement with strong ideas and concepts
• Ensures ideas are consistent with mission of College and District
• Participates on the District Resource Development Council
• Tracks grant activities that are included in the quarterly reports
• Develops guidelines for project managers
• Attend Bidders Conferences, if necessary
• Identifies emerging trends
• Builds a knowledge base of "fundable ideas" via review of professional literature and other sources
• Identifies funding strategies and sources
• Seeks out collaboration
