The mission of the nursing program at Lone Star College-Tomball is to provide a quality education to prepare competent, caring, ethical members of the health care team in a dynamic health care environment. Multiple entry/exit programs of study in Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) in an integrated design. With an integrated nursing curriculum, both classroom and clinical content are organized around a series of concepts that progress from simple to complex.

The Lone Star College System offers a multiple entry/exit program of study in Associated Degree Nursing. The Professional Nursing Program (Basic Track) and the Transition Track for Articulating Students (LVN and Paramedic) lead to an Associate Degree in Nursing and eligibility to take the R.N. State Licensure Examination. The Professional Nursing Program, Transition Track for Articulating Students and the VN Track are accredited by the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas.  The National League for Nursing accredits the RN and Transition tracks for Nursing.
