Students and registered student organizations are subject to disciplinary action according to the provisions of the Code of Student Conduct, described in the Lone Star College System catalog. Lone Star College System Police Department Policies
The Lone Star College System Board of Trustees has created a District-wide police department. The police department is staffed with licensed police officers as well as non-sworn security guards. Lone Star College System peace officers are commissioned to provide protection for persons and property. Lone Star College System police have the same authority as any other licensed peace officer on the property owned and controlled by the District, including the authority to arrest, investigate, and file charges when a crime may have been committed. Police officers patrol in marked police cars, bicycles, golf carts, and on foot.
