General Biology
A CRLA Project by Mary Sharon
This site is designed for students in the non-majors General Biology class at Lone Star College–Tomball. It includes a list of helpful links to active Internet sites where students can find additional information to help them understand terminology and processes in the biological sciences. Each link is hyperlinked to a discussion of the content of the site and the biological principle or system to which it relates.
Helpful Links
Virtual Fetal Pig Dissection with Photos This is a very nice site designed by the people at Whitman College. It requires a shockwave plug-in but it is well worth it. Highly recommended.
· Virtual Fetal Pig Dissection with Drawings This is another fetal pig site with drawings rather than photos and animations. Recommended.
· Lone Star College-North Harris Biology. A good place for everything.
