Nurse Aide, Certified

This course prepares the student to function competently and safely in a health care facility as a Nurse Aide.Successful completion of this program enables students to take the Nurse Aide Registry State Examination.

Upon passing the Nurse Aide Registry Examination, the student will be registered as a Certified Nurse Aide by the Texas Department of Human Services. This certification is required for employment in most nursing homes, hospitals, extended care facilities and home health agencies.
